Naj Murph, also known as…Naj Murph, was born and raised in Newburgh, NY. The sixth borough native fell in love with hip-hop at an early age by hanging around his father’s record store. His everlasting love for hip-hop continued to grow until his urge to create became inevitable. In junior high and high school, Naj was known for “freestyling” in the hallways and cafeterias. It wasn’t until his partnership with producer Nick Dean that he began to bombard his peers and acquaintances with his passion for hip-hop and his lyrical savvy.
